Puppy Socialisation Training School - for puppies (once they have had all their innoculations)

THE NEXT PUPPY SOCIALISATION START DATES ARE:

 

Puppy Classes - for puppies 10 weeks old and over (up to 16 weeks) at start

 

Puppy Socialisation Classes   

Sat 9.00 to 10.00am 

 

For puppies that have completed their innoculations (puppies over 10 weeks old) we are offering Socialisation Classes that will help you to overcome and understand the ups and downs of bringing up a puppy. (Please bring your innoculation certificates with you on your first week)

 

The cost of this course (4 weekly sessions) is £44.00 and classes will cover all the points highlighted below.

 

To book a place on our puppy socialisation course. please choose a start date and complete the online booking form.   A deposit of £10 is required to secure your place and this can be paid via cheque, postal order or via BACS online.

 

Puppies over 16 weeks old are not eligible to attend but are welcome at our Beginner Classes.

Puppy Foundation Course Kennel Club Scheme

To follow up the Puppy Socialisation course we are offering a series of advanced Puppy classes (6 week course) which incorporates The Kennel Club Puppy Foundation Award Scheme.

 

The aim is to train the puppy to a higher standard of obedience.

 

Please note, however, that ONLY those puppies which have completed the Puppy Socialisation course are eligible but The Puppy Foundation is also covered within the Beginner Classes held during the week.

 

 

Puppy Graduation Course - leading to The Kennel Club Bronze Good Citizen Scheme

This course is open to any puppy that has gained the The Kennel Club Puppy Foundation Award. The aim of the course is to prepare the puppy for the Good Citizen's award.

 

The course covers the following:-

  • Walk on the lead in a controlled manner
  • Walk on lead through door / gate
  • Controlled walk amongst dogs and people
  • To "stay" one minute in the "sit" and the "down
  • "Present for examination
  • Return to owner or handler when called
  • Responsibility and care

 

 Having a new puppy is a great joy and should bring a lot of fun and enjoyment into the family. 

 

Again, please note however, that only those puppies which have completed the Puppy Socialisation course are eligible but the graduation course is covered within the Beginner Classes held during the week.
